The successful candidate will play a key role in portfolio construction, investment analysis, and execution, contributing to the delivery of consistent risk‑adjusted investment performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage fixed income portfolios in accordance with approved mandates, ensuring disciplined investment execution and alignment with client objectives and risk parameters.
  • Construct and implement portfolio strategies, including duration positioning, yield curve strategies, sector allocation, and security selection, to achieve targeted performance and risk‑adjusted returns.
  • Conduct credit and macroeconomic analysis, while continuously monitoring market developments and economic conditions, including interest rate trends, monetary policy, credit fundamentals, and global market dynamics, to support investment decisions and portfolio positioning.
  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across fixed income instruments, including government bonds, corporate bonds, and other approved instruments, in line with portfolio objectives and applicable guidelines.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, positioning, and risk exposures, and provide analysis and recommendations to internal forums including team discussions and Investment Committee meetings.
  • Oversee liquidity management and foreign exchange considerations to ensure efficient portfolio implementation.
  • Collaborate with team members and relevant stakeholders, including fund managers, dealers, risk management, multi‑asset teams, and regional fixed income colleagues across markets, to support effective portfolio construction and the exchange of investment insights.
  • Participate in client engagement activities, including performance review meetings, presentations, and responses to client or consultant inquiries.
  • Prepare investment‑related materials, including portfolio updates, market commentary, and presentation materials, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, investment guidelines, and regulatory requirements in all investment activities.

Qualifications

  • A strong academic background with a degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degrees or professional qualifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in fixed income portfolio management, asset management, or investment roles.
  • Holder of a Fund Manager license issued by the SEC. CFA (or progress toward CFA charter) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income markets, including interest rate dynamics, credit analysis, portfolio construction techniques, and derivatives instruments (experience is an advantage).
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret macroeconomic and market developments and translate them into actionable investment decisions.
  • Good understanding of investment products, instruments, and regulatory requirements relevant to fixed income investing.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment views clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
