We are looking for an Assistant Fund Manager, Fixed Income in Thailand who will assist and participate with the team of fixed income professionals in managing fixed income investment portfolios in accordance with the Company’s established investment process. The assistant fund manager will also conduct research on fixed income investments and provide the analysis and recommendations on a timely basis. This position reports to the Head of Fixed Income.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist and participate with construction of fixed income investment portfolios according to the investment objectives and limitation of client mandates and adhering to the Company’s investment philosophy and process.
  • Conduct investment analysis on macroeconomic conditions and make investment recommendations for the portfolios.
  • Conduct investment analysis on Thai credits and make investment recommendations for the portfolios.
  • Conduct primary credit research and related due diligence on foreign entities as may be assigned.
  • Prepare credit market views and strategies.
  • Prepare meeting presentations and other meeting materials that may be assigned.
  • Perform other related tasks and special projects that may be assigned.

 

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder or a clear progress toward the designation is preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fixed income research or investment.
  • Knowledge of a variety of fixed income instruments, as well as possessing business acumen, analytical abilities, and a total return mentality for trading and investments in fixed income.
  • Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of economic and investment theories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under a dynamic business environment.
  • Ability to comfortably use English as a means of communication within a global company.
