We are looking for an Investment Strategist in Thailand who are responsible for developing new investment products for the company, as well as improving the existing products on shelf. Successful candidate should exhibit comprehensive understanding of global macroeconomics, investment themes and various asset classes and products, to be able to provide analyses and recommendations for the clients. The investment strategist will also develop investment content based on the firm’s analyses and recommendations for publishing and communication through social media channel. This role involves frequent collaboration with other departments within the company, and frequent contacts with Principal's regional and global offices.

What You’ll Do

• Be able to formulate investment view and analysis on various investment products, and to provide recommendations to management on new products that are suitable for launching.
• Be able to screen offshore funds using both quantitative and qualitative criteria, and conduct an in-depth analysis of the short-listed funds to ensure a competitive fund selection and successful fund launch.
• Investment strategist will be responsible for monitoring of existing fund performances and competitiveness of the product within the industry, and to initiate a review of existing product when appropriate.
• Successful candidate should be able to formulate timely and actionable recommendations, and also be able to communicate effectively through investment articles and social media channels.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to develop content for live streaming, reports, and social media.
• Be in charge of overseeing presentation materials and related training documents for sales, marketing and distribution clients, as well as providing other information and data support internally.
• Investment strategist will frequently liaise with internal fund managers and external foreign asset managers to prepare investment updates and product solutions for major customers upon request.

Who You Are

• Minimum of bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of experience in financial and investment products and analysis.
• Single License required.
• CFA, CFP, or Analyst License is preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and computer proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A keen interest in financial and investment products and markets is preferable.
